Extremely weird of you to think people shouldn't be comparing footballers who have played in the same position for Everton. Not to worry though.

If you were comparing Zaha to Bolasie, it'd be reasonable. They are/were largely winger stepover merchants with loads of pace.

Iwobi is never ever a winger. He's a deceptively slow midfielder that can on occasion play a good through ball.

I agree he's not a winger, but right now he's playing there and that's why he's being compared to Bolasie as he looks just as bad there. It's not his fault, but he is genuinely a crap winger (because he isn't one). That said, I don't think he's a good footballer, reasons already given, but let's see if Ancelotti can get anything out of him.

He's good at quickly distributing the ball forwards at pace. When he first came you could see how he had an eye for a defence-splitting pass. His distribution gave us a better attacking option. This new style of gung ho, dogs of war, hunt in packs style football does not suit him at all He is struggling to adapt. It's too fast for him and lacks any nuance. Don't forget his roots lay with the cultured football approach of Arsenal. Can't fault his effort though.

Needs to be sent back to Arsenal under the Trade Descriptions Act. 30m suggests you are getting a good footballer. This fella is Championship level.

"The Trade Descriptions Act 1968 is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom which prevents manufacturers, retailers or service industry providers from misleading consumers as to what they are spending their money on. This law empowers the judiciary to punish companies or individuals who make false claims about the products or services that they sell."
