Cork Evertonian

Player Valuation: £50m
Im sure a lot of us have intrest in football in other countries. So im just wondering is there anyone else on here who have Ajax as their favourite team outside of Everton.I like them because of memories of that 1995 Champions League winning team and the boss players that their youth academy has produced over the years as well as the style of football they have a tradition of playing.I think their ground is pretty impressive as well and i find their fans singing Bob Marley songs to be a quirk that is amusing. In other words i think Ajax are boss. Not as boss as us though but boss nonetheless.;)

Cocky scummers!!!! There's better clubs to follow in Holland. I see by your name your from Ireland, their fans don't seem to have much "patience" with things green & white. Can't cover their whole fan base with that but get a lot of them together and it seems to go that way, mainly the younger ones coming up, older fans tend to be more reserved and well able to have a good chat about all football matters.

What are you on about with regards to the bit in bold? The first ever manager of Ajax was from County Wicklow.I do know Ajax have a very bad hooligan element (those F Side and VAK 410 nutters) all right but so do other dutch clubs like Feyenoord and ADO Den Haag.

I think he means the violence in Dam Square when they played Celtic, I could be wrong though as it was the police and Celtic fans.
Kinda, but the violence was started by Ajax, plain clothes police came on the scene and they were dressed in stone island and cp company jackets, they started to wade into the Celtic fans who in turn thought they were Ajax hools and a bit of a barney occurred.
