I know not many rate McGeady but he joined us in Jan 2014 after not having played for a long period. Was completely underdone in terms of match fitness and yet was thrown in immediately due to injuries etc..

Started last year better and started looking really good just before he got injured. First game back he set up Lukaku's winner at West Ham. Think when fully fit he might surprise a few... especially as a squad player.

I seen him play for Celtic against Benfica when the Celtic fans thought he could walk on water. Celtic won 1-0 and he scored.
However he was meant to be on the left hand side of midfield, he charged forward on every occasion taking on defenders and losing the ball time after time. The left fullback was hammered.
The hype at Celtic got him the big money transfer to Russia.
Strikes me as a very good championship player, would do well in that division or back at Celtic. Don't think he can cut it in the Premiership.
I wish him well, hope he gets a transfer to a club where he is a big player and does some good.

Mcgeady was a good player at Celtic . You can talk about the quality of the league etc but he ripped teams like AC Milan (when they were good) apart. He is a confidence player, playing with zero confidence and he doesn't look like regaining that anytime soon and we can't wait forever.

What colour is the sky on your planet pal? He's pitifully bad. One goal against Leicester, and a very good goal at that, is all he's ever done. A half a dozen assists in forty appearances? For a winger? Get out.

So was Samaras, Hooper, and about a billion other players who will never make it in the prem.
