Aiden McGeady

Hope he does mate, dont mind being proved wrong if it means we benefit like, he seems initially at least to be fannying around less ans trying to be more a team player than ive seen before though which is a step in the right direction.
As i said doing it week in week out without slipping into his old habits will be the key to his sucess or not now.

Closest we've had to John Morrisey for many years !!

He looks like potentially THE single biggest factor Everton have been missing in our sides for years, A fast tricky winger who can open a game up and cross effectively. I have a feeling he will become a key player next season.

Sort of, but not so much that he should be slated for it.

He's alright McGeady. Not exactly going to take us to the next level, but he's getting better every week.

Yes, and besides, he cost next to nothing, so if it doesn't work out, we all know Celtic will give us 3 million quid for him.

At fault for their first goal.

I cant see how he was, tbh. Stones and Distin were both marking Bony on the edge of the box. Baines was left alone with Dyer who should have been picked up by Distin shuffling across and leaving Baines to track that ball over the top to Rangel. McGeady was trying to salvage the situation by getting back. I'd have viewed it as a bonus if he'd have gotten a block in. At the end of the move Distin's looking down at McGeady as if it was his fault when really he'd failed to pick up!

Good squad player who gives us something we hadn't got. Useful signing but we won't see the best of him till next season.

Left winger tracks right back.

disagree. Others were at fault for the goal. Mcgeady is told to stay up the pitch. We have two defensive midfielders precisely for that reason.
I think this is at the crux of the belief McGeady was at fault. He mentioned in interview he wasn't being overly taxed by Martinez with defensive duties and maybe some have it in their heads he should be and the conclusion on the Bony goal is arrived at from that reasoning...erroneously.
