way too early to be drawing verdicts on him. He needs time to get his fitness back and get acclimated to the Premiership.

You can't judge him on today - he should never have been on the pitch, it was an atrocious tactical call from Martinez. We didn't have a striker on the pitch.

I don't think he'll ever be the "key player" in our side, but he looks to be a good squad addition.

Wont pass comment on him as most probably know my opinion prior to him being signed, but will say wont really be able to judge him until hes match fit and playing more

I've seen him play for ireland on numerous occasions. He rarely offers much and even more rarely beats the first man with crosses. Work rate aint great either. Needless to say, I wasn't overly happy when he signed.

If he turns out to be another Bily, we are stuck with him for a few years, just as we are stuck with some of the other injury prone players on long contracts.

Sorry, i know it's early, but all this ****e about being fit is bollocks, I haven't played or trained for about 20 years but i would show you something / anything for about 10 seconds before i needed oxygen.

He doesn't look interested in my opinion.

The moment i heard him described as very good but frustrating in equal measure by celtic fans, my heart sank. I think Everton fans know this type of guy inside out. But you think that if Roberto has tracked him for so long he must have something, right?
Well i think he should never have come on today as there were no strikers to cross to anyway.
