For what it's worth, he's the only signing we made last summer that I can get onboard with Moyes's use of, the only argument I could see would be that we could have given him a few more mins here and there as a sub on the wing, but there's been barely any games where we've been comfortable enough to do that.
Looked genuinely miles away from the required level in the U21 games we were able to see and has all the physical presence of a twig.
Given the low price we paid, I'm fine with trusting judgement on him that he's a bit away from being at the level required yet and seeing him as one for the future. That being said, if we sell him now because he wants first team football, it begs the question why we bought him to begin with as surely we'd have set expectation levels with him before signing him and been aware of his physical attributes (or lack thereof).
