Europa League minimum or he gets the sack. Time to think like a big club. Man Utd wouldn't take it so why should we?

As it stands now? Top 8. A few big signings, Europe. Top 4 is a minimum couple of years development away.

However they need to aspire to 1st.

Top 8. We've been gash the last two seasons let's not expect miracles straight away in the most competitive league in the world. Rome wasn't built in a day.

He tends to get his first season finishing in those places so no difference here. Whether it is 1st or 7th or cup that gets us there, we need european football again.

Based on the criteria of being what I'd 'accept' then I've gone for a top ten finish although, I would much prefer a top six or top eight finish.

If we get the marquee signing we have been promised and a number of other quality additions, then obviously we should be aiming high.

Up to now though we're still in a position of a squad being similar to last season so hard to put high expectations. Others are improving as well.

I think we need to lower expectations, i dont think our squad is good enough for top 6 yet tbh.

And i dont want to rely on Lukaku again.

Exactly my point. If we sign the likes of Mata, Witsel and Carvalho before then adding other players then expectations will expectedly be higher.

With the current squad I'd say top 8 but it's all dependant on who he brings in and the quality of the new players to see if we should be finishing higher. With so many players on the books that need shifting, I think it'll be the season after before we'll see Koeman's stamp on things take effect.
