2024/25 Abdoulaye Doucoure

Doucore has been an excellent player for us. When he first signed he was a real athlete - box to box and a real force but he’s getting older now so that athleticism is on the decline. Happens to all players but he still has a role to play - certain teams where we need to break them down.

I think it’s important to stay respectful when a player has played a pretty important role in our history and gives 100% for the club.

I backed Doucouré for a while, but I think it's time to let him leave at the end of the season.

Scored some really important goals for us none more important than the one that kept us up against Bournemouth, his work rate has been excellent at times but today was a definite off day for him.

An absolute cart horse. Gets up and down the pitch well and that's about it, any manager who rates him as a DM needs their head seeing to.

Who somehow makes us win matches when he starts. No, I don't understand it either.

No male … he doesn’t “ make us” win matches … he offers nothing but stamina … thats it …. He is 31 and never played for a team that isn’t battling relegation …. There is a reason for that … he’s crap .

I’m still undecided on Mangala, but he moved the ball quicker and with more purpose in the 15 or so minutes he got than Doucoure managed in 80.

He hasn't been that good for most of 2024. Also not playing in the position where he scored those important goals.

He's basically replaced Onana but I'd rather see Mangala get a run of starts .

As I said that was the difference with Berge who did stride into the open space and gave the ball to Fulham's creatives to do their stuff.
