Don't really think he's a long term solution at all in the pivot. First half him and Mangala could not pick up Eze at all, better teams will exploit that.

It becomes easier second half leading and being able to put more behind the ball and Dyche this time made two CMs subs with ten minutes left which he didn't v Bournemouth.

If fully fit Gana-Garner would've been more solid today imo, we saw enough of that in the run in last season and Tim will probably have a run of starts again in the winter period.

I think with the takeover all but done there's little excuse to just hang onto players because they "can do a job." Get something for him in January and get a decent replacement with the new cash influx.

If Sean had have slung him off at HT with Lundstrom I don't think anyone would have batted an eyelid.

can say the same for DCL and McNeil TBF... though McNeil's performance improved slightly (!!) in the second half.

The good and the bad you are always going to get. More bad than good in the 1st half and more good than bad in the 2nd. Until we sort out an upgrade we need his legs and size
A premier league club reduced to having to pay ridiculous sums to athletes who treat the football like a used syringe. I’m not having it that Gana, Garner or Tim would not have been a definite upgrade on this fella in midfield but Dyche isn’t interested in having control of the ball so Abdoulaye fits in very well.
His size was hardly pivotal for the first Palace goal.

They certainly haven't proved an upgrade so far this season. Doucoure has played prem footy for a decade so I think you are being hyperbolic, he's earned his career.

Ashley Young has played it for near twenty years, he shouldn’t be anywhere near the team either. I would say that Tim has been one of the very few positives so far this season, looks a promising central midfielder who is already vastly superior in technical ability to Doucoure
