He scored one crucial goal. Doucoure has popped up with 11...so far.

He is no world beater (when did we last have one of them?) but . . . we have 99 problems and Dacoure ain't one of them. We would have to be 100% sure that we could secure better before even considering not renewing his contract.

He can be infuriating sometimes but he scores goals (6 in his last 8 away games!) and must be horrible to play against the way he presses like a mad man for a full 90 minutes.

He’s not a great footballer but he’s very effective and an important member of our squad right now.
