Allows us to be flexible formation wise too, him and Allan would complement each other in a 4-4-2 and if we want to play a bit deeper and hit teams on the break we can bring Andre into the middle with them for a 4-4-3. Lovely stuff.

I’d have been gutted if Doucoure was the only midfielder we brought in. But I can’t say some of his attributes aren’t exactly what we need.

For once it looks like the people making the decisions have been able to see what the fans have seen all season.

I wasn’t expecting signings the calibre of James and Allan but if the club hadn’t brought in at least 2 midfielders I think we’d have had serious difficulties this season.
