Transfer Rumour Aaron Wan-Bissaka

It seems that you both missed my point about whether we would be getting the 2024/25 AWB or last seasons player...

The 2024/25 version was West Hams best player and one of the leagues best full backs. Thats offensively and defensively, a beast.

Again, last season he dropped right off and rumours were that he fell out with Nuno and there may be something else.

Forget Moyes and forget the players name, for £10mil I'd gladly take the player who delivered outstanding performances in 2024/25.
He's not good enough to progress us zat, he's a paper over the cracks type signing who'll be 'expendable' and on a 'players we need to sell list' within a year

I can't even begin to formulate a view on any of this until I know who will (or at least who won't!) be managing any new signings we manage to attract.

It depends on what you mean and want by progress. If you want champions league progress then I agree with you.

But if you just want to qualify for the Europa League and to match the points totals of Sunderland, Brentford and Bournemouth, then he absolutely could help facilitate that level of progress just by removing Michael Keane from the starting line up.

Can't we just buy a right back we'll want to keep rather than a stop gap though? Surely it can't be beyond us that

I’d be removing Tarkowski before Keane.

Wan-Bissaka... We have not signed him, it is just a rumour at the moment. But if we do, he will deffo be an up-grade on those we have in the squad now. And "cheap", which is a factor.
Personally, I will NOT be writing him off before he has even signed and kicked a ball for us. Seems that, as usual sadly, many others on here already have.
