So possibly another 2-3 months of this thread thanBoth, fans soon on backs of players regardless of age! Dibling got it off fans it in the little time he had. Anyway be surprised if this lad signs until his World Cup is over!

He's not good enough to progress us zat, he's a paper over the cracks type signing who'll be 'expendable' and on a 'players we need to sell list' within a yearIt seems that you both missed my point about whether we would be getting the 2024/25 AWB or last seasons player...
The 2024/25 version was West Hams best player and one of the leagues best full backs. Thats offensively and defensively, a beast.
Again, last season he dropped right off and rumours were that he fell out with Nuno and there may be something else.
Forget Moyes and forget the players name, for £10mil I'd gladly take the player who delivered outstanding performances in 2024/25.

Can't we just buy a right back we'll want to keep rather than a stop gap though? Surely it can't be beyond us thatIt depends on what you mean and want by progress. If you want champions league progress then I agree with you.
But if you just want to qualify for the Europa League and to match the points totals of Sunderland, Brentford and Bournemouth, then he absolutely could help facilitate that level of progress just by removing Michael Keane from the starting line up.

I’d be removing Tarkowski before Keane. It depends on what you mean and want by progress. If you want champions league progress then I agree with you.

A sensible replySmart signing at that price. His assists aren't amazing but just having a right back capable of getting up to to create space will be a huge difference. Also how many times do we see JOB get skinned on the right. This fella will stop us leaking as many.
No, no, no....I’d be removing Tarkowski before Keane.
Who is the answer? Who are the better options? Curious to hear...He’s faster, can whip in a better ball, can actually overlap but he’s not the answer imo. Surely the is better options
He is defintely better than what we had last season... deffo. Is this guy the exciting option that we all want....no.
Is he better than our current options at RB... yes.
File under "meh", and see what happens.
Another sensible post... AgreeNot an inspiring signing but I reckon we'd have finished higher with AWB at RB and JOB at CB this season. Whatever he is or isn't, he's an upgrade. 10mil seems fair too
