Unfortunately the assist stats, flawed as they are, have backed up what I've seen with the naked eye. But as you say he hasn't always had either the best of service or target men so it might be different in our setup.

Tbh just pleased we've got a choice of true wide players, he seems like a nice guy and his pace could well make a difference to how the opposition set up.

You are one of my top 10 posters on this board...you know as much or more than most of these muppets. Football knowledge you might be near the head of the class. I do agree with a lot of what you're saying, but imagine if things were in reverse. Geads on loan to Spurs. Imagine that conversation on both boards.

This wasn't the signing we all wanted, but now we have three players (Lennon, McGeady and Atsu) to play across from Mirallas. Hopefully one of them hits a good run of form. If nothing else, we're just upping the odds in our favor.

Id throw him in on sat and reckon it will add to our energy levels. Him & Mirallis out wide will give us options. Lennon will get into the box with his pace which is what wev been lacking. Il get behind him if he starts

I think that was a photoshop job. He was really leaning against a load of boots.
