Aaron Lennon ( On Loan January 2015 )

How much would you pay for Lennon in the Summer

  • Up to the rumoured 6 or 7 million - worth every penny

  • No more than 5 million - he's OK, but not worth any more

  • No more than 3 million - he's got no end product ffs

  • Wouldn't take him on a free, he's badly gash

  • Stop asking me questions and stick the grill on

I was referring to his age mate, yeah. Exactly that, I agree.

If he's to come here, he must come now or not at all.

I'd rather it was not at all tbh mate, the loan period was without doubt the best version of lennon we would see if we signed him, much luke with Barry, both played their arses off to get a deal knowing it was lukely their last chance at a club known to give decent salary combined with a long deal for players around 30+ which we have form for.

We should look for a situation to loan in those types as basically were getting a very good player with no significant risk to it, but contracting them is damgerous, take Barry as an example of that.

Depends on price for me. If Levy is asking over £5M I'd leave it. Around that mark it's a decent purchase. He's only just 28 and we'd likely get something back in a sale.

I thought he did well whilst here. Two important goals, hard worker, flexible and he seemed to mesh with Coleman and allow him to find form again.

I'd also take him next year on a free if we can't find a suitable solution for all sides this term. 29 years is the best age for a footballer and we know he can contribute to our side now. Give him a three year deal and everybody is happy.

Agree. 4 million. I'd be a taker.
