The owners just see the club as a bauble they'll sell on for a profit once we are a bit better. They're US businessmen interested in the dollar first and foremost. I suspect their only interest in football is as a pot of money and the fact its everton is inconsequential. They'll aim for improvement as cheaply as possible and sell on.

To be fair I have no issue with owners who want to sell the club on at a profit, because that suggests there’ll be some effort made to make us better enough that a decent profit is realised. They don’t seem too arsed about making that effort at the moment, which is the most puzzling thing of all.

I have to say though that moderators (and self policing by the community) do a great job with the rest. The very worse of the social media mob are generally kept at bay.

Ive not gotvan issue with them selling on, but when their asset is a visceral emotive thing that countless generations have invested passion and energy into its history, I want the custodians to at least LOOK at what they have, other than accountancy figures.

It just stinks of parasitism.
