Player Valuation: £30m
Im a relatively new Everton fan, been following the blues for around 2 years now. With that being said I don't have much experience to talk about Everton transitions. I am convinced that we are in the mist of a new transition.

I am also very convinced that we are going to sign 1 player or no players at all. Although I was very optimistic about the transfer window, I am now left in shambles and I'm willing to take anyone to help out team. I feel like the player we sign it is not going to exactly be superb at the beginning but thats David Moyes for you. He is going to find a gem and give him the confidence to become better.

The transition is one of us building off the team we currently have. It is a team of Starters/Youngster. I give all my praise to Rodwell for his matureness and Baxter for showing such great potential. It is also very pleasing seeing Valente playing more and really showing his professionalism. The team that we saw today against Brom is exactly what Im talking about. Although we seemed weary and shaky at times we got the goals in and kept defending till the end. We are like a new team now thats starting to get to know each other.

Under the guidance of David Moyes and the determination of the players this team will become closer and play Everton football which is magic. I can see us getting 5th or 6th place easily and hell even going to semi's of the UEFA cup. I can't wait for for hold for us in the future..

there is a transition happening, Bk and moyes are trying to get us from quite good to [Poor language removed].

1st post nice, positive attitude

2nd post by harry, negative attitude from someone who will eat there words by the end of august

get a grip lad and show some support

Moyes!!! i dont want to take over this thread but how is Moyes trying to make us go from "quite good to [Poor language removed]"

Why does he read this forum?

he doesn't read it so it means you can talk [Poor language removed] about him?

he's right mate you do need to get a grip, its one thing to get on the boards back, but its quite another to criticize moyes.

you may believe he's taking us from good to [Poor language removed], but keep in mind he's the one who got us back to good in the first place.

are you on some sort of drugs?
did the board let fernandes go, did the board let johnson go, did the board not offer carsley two years, have the board on their own been responsible for not bringing in a single replacement never mind extra players to a team that clearly fell away in the second half of last season and scraped in at 5th. it is you who wants to get a grip pal, on reality!

Did the board have adequate funds in place from the start of pre-season?

I would have to say no.

I am pretty sure Moyes isnt on a one man mission to press the self destroy button.

oh i forgot is it the board that plays players out of position, is it the board that has us playing some of the ugliest football in the prem, does the board dither with subtitutions and never have a plan b if things arn't going well.

stop building this guy up to be god, he is far from it!!!!

I dont agree with Harry, but i think Moyes must take some of the blame. But only SOME.

Its not really fair to point fingers, i just think we have been found wanting and as Moyes has said we have been let down, by Agents and other factors. Im sure we wont make this mistake again and i think this time is different then when we finished 4th and didnt kick on, cos i dont think we had the resources or the desirabilty to attract top notch players.

Im sure you all agree that if we can get @ least 3 players in that will have to do. At this stage i think it only matters that they have 2 legs and can run around for long periods.

Your so wrong it hurts. He has a limited squad so he HAS to play players out of postion. And you clearly dont go the game, cos some games last season we played utterly amazing, granted we played badly and won at times, but so do Chelsea, UTD and the Arse.

Moyes is not Smith, Moyes does try to make subs that will change the game and i think hes very tactically aware so is always thinking of a plan b.

All in all, i think u have no knowledge of football so i would appreciate if you tried to get a clue, thanks.
