Whiney face Pienaar sell for Bale and Hutton buy
Briefly, as this is my first post I would like to introduce myself as a 27yo East Londoner and life-long toffee.
The reason for my post is the impending transfer of both Kyles, Naughton and Walker to Spurs, the former from under the noses of ourselves when all seemed to be finalised.
Whereas most blues seem to be shocked and extremely resentful toward both united and spurs for their craftiness, I expect shenanigans like this to occur as after all, football would not be football without it. Besides, we are talking about the two most devious entities in the game.
Actually, though i will be quite relieved if Tottscum sign Naughton and Walker as I feel it will open up a golden opportunity for Everton to steal in and get two players whose confidence and form have been sucked into the black hole beneath White Hart Lane that has consumed many a players future before them. Players I feel for the money spent will offer much more value to the squad in terms of their versatility.
The first in mind being Alan Hutton who hasn't had the best time at Tottenham with injury and rotation, is not a Harry signing and is considered expendable after only 18 months. A powerful attacking right back which we desperately seek who would also offer valuable cover in the centre of defence this coming season.
The second being Gareth Bale who at only 20 can be rescued from his spurs nightmare, where he hasn't been on the winning side after 2 years at the club, and kickstart his career under the careful watch of Round and Moyes. This acquisition would not only give Baines food for thought to continue performing superbly but also give continued competition for the left midfield spot should Pienaar take his horrible whiney face to La Liga.
£8-10million should secure the services of both these players since Levy is looking to recoup some of the dough that jowly face Redknapp squeezed out of him during last years panic spending. They're tall, athletic, skillful, pacy players who I'm sure will prosper at Everton.
