I can't even imagine that still... 60 league goals, just incredible

More goals were scored per game in those days, so a more accurate measure of how good Dean was when compared to both his peers and more current players would be how many goals the leading scorer scored out of all goals scored in that season. I did the calculation about 10 years ago and Dean was a clear winner. Shearer in one season was second and I believe Cole was 3rd in his best season. Truly awe inspiring .
