We could try comparing ourselves to any other club with no money in which case we are doing very very well. The whole concept that we should by right be winning stuff irregardless of financial constraints is simply childish daydreaming, we all want to win something and I think under
Moyes we will, he's gotten us to within 80 minutes of a cup once already but to say he's not been good enough because he hasn't won anything and to say the only thing that counts is silverware is mental.
It means that if we lost the final in the FA cup, League cup and Champions League and finished second in the league its no different that getting knocked out first rounds and finishing 17th.
The only thing that matters is progress, to what end we shall see but we want cups, we want wins and we want to be a giant club again. You cannot do that easily from the starting position
Moyes was given and the funds he has been given to change things. To say it doesn't matter because he won nothing is very blinkered.
We have no money but looking at the difference Moyes has made to us, unless we get some he is probably our best chance of improving from where we are now to where the daydreamers think we are.
We all think we should be in the same place - winning things and ruling the football world as all fans do about their clubs.. But we are not and that is not down to Moyes, that we are even in the Premiership probably is though.
