It is pretty standard for fans to hide their faces when it goes off. It is also pretty standard for the Police to use body cams or hand held cams to record footage of fans before any trouble starts they can then use the earlier footage to compare clothing, the build and any unusual features with the footage of any incidents.

The Police will be building a database of Everton fans that they can use at a later date. Some people need to knock it on the head for a while but that isn't going to be easy because opposition thugs will be looking out for Everton fans after the events at Millwall and Watford.

Every Police force has a naughty boy match going data base , it is how they stop them going abroad for games and enforce banning orders etc.

They`ve had them on the go for decades mate.

Well, that's not entirely true.

The Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc.) Act 1985 means it is an offence to be in possession of alcohol on the way to a designated sporting event.

This does include possession of alcohol on the railways or other PSVs, while there are also quite ambiguous yet equally draconian by-laws which state:

There's a fair few others parts as well which mean if you're deemed unfit (for numerous reasons) you can be asked to leave.

The issue with the train is whether the train is principally being used to take people to or from a match, which means it is often overlooked or is unenforceable.
Then alcohol should not be allowed to be advertised or sponsor any sporting event or team/player, the Carling premier league, what pure hypocritical bs.

I was on a private coach going to Boro years ago, we got stopped and searched and they wouldn't let the whole coach go the match because of ale on board. There were kids on the coach as well it wasn't fair at all. At 3pm they escorted us back to Leeds and waved us off. We watched the second half in Leeds on BBC1 talk show, think Jeffers got a late winner

I ended up in the cells for pitch invading for the winner

Merseyside Police have arrested six men and seized cocaine, cannabis and alcohol from two coaches carrying Everton fans ahead of tonight’s game against Cardiff City.‬

Has Everton and Silva really turned us to drugs and aclcohol or is it a cunning plan by our fans to get the Cardiff players high before the game?
You'd need more than Class A to go to watch Everton in Wales ffs.

Obviously alcohol alone, isn’t enough to numb the pain of watching Everton at present, you have to resort to drugs as well.

It makes me smile a bit when people say we shouldn't have alcohol or betting companies involved in football, but something ethical like banks sponsoring it,
Let's forget about the last banking crisis then
There's very few ways to make the sort of money needed to sponsor football that doesn't involve exploitation of the masses in some way.
