50 years since 'Love Me Do' was released

First Beatles' single reached number 17 in the charts, partly thanks to Brian Epstein buying 1,000 copies (apparently).

I know not everyone is a fan but there's no denying their impact on popular music and popular culture in general.

Supposed to be 1,000 strong choir singing it in Liverpool tonight (last night, sorry) as part of the commemoration.

Anyone hear it?

I agree. But Everton's first 2 results in 84-85 season were bollocks and look what happened there. I think these lads have potential

I read that they recorde it with 3 different drummers. Pete Best, someone whose name I can't remember and finally Ringo.

I did read that in 'A History of The Beatles' by agent49 though.
