50 Years of Hurt

I actually once met John Hurt in Manchester when we were staying in the same hotel. Didn't recognise him at first as he looked a bit 'worse for wear'! Lovely man and a true Evertonian.

he lived outside my hometown in Ireland back about 15-20yrs ago for some time. I was at the train station waiting to head up to Dublin and after a few minutes I realised the scruffy old vagabond across from me was John Hurt

if I’d known he was an Evertonian I would’ve said hello!!! Raging now..
