4th Place - What's it going to take?

Just keep winning our games and take it from there. If we fail to win one game then we need to win doubly as hard the next game.

Putting all the pressure on the team to finish fourth as though its the last salvation on earth probably won't do them any good. Arsenal have a piss easy run in so I'd still back them.

Just win. If we do what we're clearly capable of doing, we'll be there in the end. If we don't, then we don't deserve it. All the faith in the world after Sunday's performance that we will get the points needed for CL qualification.

Sunderland will be our toughest game since Chelsea away and no mistake.

We'd do well to 3 points there.

WestHam will be up for a fight at Arsenal with it being a London Derby, with there Physical presence and withArsenal low on confidence might make it difficult for them, Plus if we beat Sunderland it really cranks up the pressure on them even more, the night they play the hammers.

They are all tough now tbf

To win 6 on the bounce takes some doing at this level and the run will have to continue too. Can't afford a slip up against Sunderland and Palace. We have to go into that Manc game on an 8 match winning run, we have too. We want this 4th place, then we simply have to reach the kind of levels not seen around these parts for 2 decades.

What's it going to take?

Honestly?

1) Arsenal, even on current form, should win every match they have.
2) Everton, even on current form, will have one obligatory slip up. I'm calling away against Hull but it could be any of them.
3) Everton need to win every match. I don't see that happening.
4) Arsenal need to slip up in one of their matches. I don't see that happening.

If you've following Everton for any length of time, we don't do 12 match winning streaks. We may do 12 match unbeaten runs but you'll need to throw a few draws in there.

Games I look back on with regret:

1) First three of the season. Look at who we played. Geez !!! Winning any one or two of those and things are great.
2) Spurs away. One point dropped there due to a switch off in concentration.
3) Chelsea away. One point dropped there for the same reason.

I see us getting fifth. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Both Everton and Arsenal will not win every match. We just need to make sure we draw our slip ups, not lose.

How can you say that you don't see Arsenal slipping up, when they haven't won for 4 games and only have 2 wins in the last 9 (i think) ?

Sure on paper they have the easier run in, but thats exactly what it is............ on paper. Make no mistake mate, they were even before Sunday, Arsenal are wobbling.
