What a match that was! Everyone went bonkers when Big Bob scored. I remember looking down when everything had settled and seeing a nice Seiko Divers watch on the ground. I thought "That'll do me". Still have it somewhere to this day.
I’ve grassed you to the plod lad, they’re sending the Matrix round as I type!

I was there in the Upper Glwadys terracing. Absolute joy and madness all rolled into one and a deserved end to the season for Latch...one which promised so much but which eventually filtered into something akin to the usual 'Everton that' nothingness. Really taken aback by how long ago it actually was though.

8yr old me was there with my Dad and Grandad.
Big Bob was my absolute idol. Still is tbh. Him and Everton were my whole world back then.
We were in Lower Gwladys, just to the right side of the goal.
I remember the noise more than anything when he scored the pen. I'd never heard anything like it before, hairs are bristling just thinking about it.

Still love you Bob 💙
I was more or less in the same spot, it was a good day, but at the back of my mind...due to the rs success...it had echoes of a consolation prize, quite a good thing to do, but a consolation none the less

Was in the park end aged 17 and there was a massive kick off with Chelsea who had about 500 or so and they were up for it...big black lad with one arm allegedly..think he was called baby...he looked a monster...remember it going off after the game too...the latch was brilliant..got a signed photo of him after he scored the 30th goal.....mike loons running after him and the old littewoods clock in the background
