Let's be blunt, next season is just going to be a carbon copy of this season. We'll do alright in spells, we probably won't worry about relegation but we also won't trouble the latter stages of the cups or the European spots in the league and we'll go on some long winless runs where we continue to play the same players in the same system. We'll just, sort of, exist. That's what £5m a year for David Moyes gets you.

Don't be surprised if by this time next season Brighton have a trophy to their name with the Conference League. I also wouldn't be shocked if Sunderland have a really good go at the Europa League too. Meanwhile things will go exactly as you expect them to go for us. We'll get knocked out of the FA and League cups at the 3rd round point, be lucky to win a third of our home games, get hammered in the derby both home and away, generally have nothing to be positive about, and somehow still have idiots telling us to be greatful for it along with dire warnings of disaster if we dare to have aspirations and dreams of more.
