Jus speaking from my own personal experience. Each time I've been to either Britain or Ireland I've received nothing but but warm welcomes from most everyone I've interacted with. Honestly kind of goes with how you'll be treated most anywhere, but I never got any real flack for being a yank overseas.

That’s soldier field in november. That’s basically the worst surface in American sports. The World Cup pitches will be better.

My enthusiasm for it is dead.

Nothing to do with the craziness in your country but how disgustingly greedy FIFA have been at every step of planning this.

I had thought about travelling and going to some matches when it was announced Canada would get some. I knew Ottawa wouldn't be on the list but Vancouver or Montreal for a few weeks sounded alright.

Then I read about the pricing and immediately decided against the entire thing.

This World Cup isn't for the supporters. It's for the sponsors and suits.

And I dont know a single person going. Because it turns out we CANT go to it unless we are super rich.
