Was watching that ITVX world cup games series: England v West Germany QF match 1970. Some Everton involvement: Newton, Labone, Ball, and Wright on the subs bench. What drama queens the West German team were. The old games on film from the 1966 World Cup dont show the West Germans to be play actors. I wonder what happened in the intervening 4 years?
