does anyone remember papiss cisse when he joined? was just a purple patch. not saying the same about michu because he seems to ooze class in the berbatov ilk, but still, we're never a club that's going to pay 20 for a player who was worth 2 less than a year ago - way too much of a gamble. one of the big boys are able to - not us

Tbf, Cissé is a quality player. He's been shipped out wide all season by Pardew, just like Ba last season when Cisse first came. He's best as a poacher Cisse - he scored a lot in Germany. I think he'll find his form again.

Wellbeck has the potential to be very good. All of the right attributes; pace, workrate and strength.

Needs lots of refining, and lots more football than he'll get as SAF's 4th choice forward.

Can't see him being allowed to leave though.

Hes doing quiet well to get games up against 2 of the worlds best strikers, and arguably one of the best finishers/poachers in world football.

He's a good young player. England international. Be soft to turn him down on a loan

Another one id like to see if felli is sold in the summer, the two frenchies from newcastle in cabaye and ben arfa, although i think we'd need them to go down if we had a good chance of signing them, could also mean putting mirallas behind the striker

Danny Welbeck being mentioned in a few papers today on loan. I would take that, but I don't see Ferguson wanting to loan any of his strike force out unless he gets Lewandowski.

Lots of papers linking Mccarthy. I like Mccarthy but viewing him as a 'replacement' for fellaini is mental.

I like welbeck, and if lewandowski is coming then surely hernandez/welbeck will have to go.

Hernandez starts regularly, Welbeck is intermittent, so I reckon Welbeck is the more likely player, if Ferguson was willing to let any of his four strikers out on loan, which I doubt very much, that being said, I would love to sign Welbeck as I reckon he's a tad underrated.

Id love him here, and who knows he might do us a favour, because it would benefit both ways, we arent challenging for the title but we can be taking points off city etc
