Lassana Bangoura from Rayo Vallecano for 4.5m euros is the latest one doing the rounds as well as Forren for 2m euros. Have never seen either play. I trust any business like that would involve Heitinga leaving.

Where have you heard that LTB?. Lass Bangoura is a real talent, a pacey, tricky winger who did very well alongside Michu in there debut seasons in La Liga. Dont know where we'd get the money from but him, and Forren, would be good signings IMO!.

It just makes sense to me to sell Heitinga who is an high earner and bring in a younger, more hungrier player in Forren on less wages and for a smallish fee. Dont know how much we'd get for Heitinga but IF we could get summat decent for him and sign Forren to replace him and have cash spare to put a down payment on someone like Bangoura, a young and very talented player, then it just makes a lot of sense to me.

Think one of the top Italian teams have done also, Juve and either Fiorentina or Napoli, so i'd say that would rule us out, unless he really wanted to play in the prem?!.

We spend 10 years with barely one proper winger then we have 2 (suiable wingers who won't play anywhere else under moyes pienaar and mirallas) and now he wants more?

I genuinely don't think we are after ANY attacking right or left sided players. Stiker,defender,goalie,AM,DM or RB but NOT a winger

The only articles I can find about us tracking Lass Bangoura are from 2011. I suppose it shows we've had an interest in him for a while, so it's not unreasonable for it to crop up again.

Doubtful says Moyes. My gut tells me Vic is going to play a big role in our attempt to get top 4.

I wonder how much reading would pay for Vic. And as much as my opinion of him has improved over the past six months, I still think we'd do well to cash out on what I think is a poor footballer on a good run of form.
