Which is the discussion. Are sky going to let go of that deal just so the PL can charge the same for more coverage? Who's commentating the games? Is it just a straight game, bare bones, no discussion, pundits, or actual program about it? Do people care about the package or just the games?

What's the price point for that to cover overheads and pay the clubs?

I was more responding to your final paragraph. I would happily take less games and less access for the same price.

It’s not really up to sky though. They don’t own the PL. Their contract ends in 2029. Lots of clubs already have their own commentary services (Everton tv provide commentary and a half time discussion every game)
