And the point is, it doesn't matter how big a club you are or if you are winning trophies regularly - if a player has their heart set on leaving, they will leave.

We could have offered Lukaku 300k a week and he would still have packed his bags and gone to Utd. Even if OFM hadn't completely screwed us for 2 seasons when we had a chance to push on, I still think Lukaku never saw us as anything more than a stepping stone.
