    2022/23 Sean Dyche

    Nothing changed since January

    2022/23 Sean Dyche

Nah. He bottled it and gave up when it came to the crunch. Only stays at a club for 12 months anyway...case in point...

Billic loved toting up bookings and got suspended a lot. The got injured and preferred playing for Croatia than his club

Did his job. Most of the players don't.

He's on record saying something along the lines of he'll deal with whatever he's got. So if we had a warchest or not, he'd still take the job based on the profile. Think the only promises he were given was a bonus for keeping us up.

    2022/23 Sean Dyche

Yes cos it's a high profile job and he wanted a premiership one after turning down championship ones. Possible that the asset stripping may have not been part of the plan but I'm sure restraints and a sell to buy budget would've been as that's been in place since Benitez took the job. Every...

He's under the same constraints as he was at Burnley. Don't think he was ever sold it on a warchest and finances. He took the job cos he'd only take a premier league job and we (I assume) were the only ones that afford him it at the time. It's also a bigger profile than Burnley and probably...

    Sorted for e's and whizz

Striker is the most important part he needs to address. However...the defence is looking ropey. Injury prone left and right backs, zero cover for either. And 1 good CB, one with potential...and 3 back ups who shouldn't be near the club.

    2022/23 Sean Dyche

A lot of "run before you can walk" talk on here...which if difficult with legs that we as a club currently don't have.

Personally think they've got cash in the bank. As mentioned, the minute they don't...that's it. Southampton and Leicester had financial issues. Same with Leeds. We're more likely to go down that route if we don't sort out behind the scenes.

Brighton invested heavily, and the right way, to get a foot hold into the league. They spend a net of £100+mill in their first 2 seasons. They're built to sustain and grow each year on (Europa League) and off the field (commercially etc). This season alone they sold £120mill of talent and spent...

That fits a club like Burnley's though. Yo-yo up and down and bank on selling players. The only club template we should follow is Brighton's who had a flexible plan over 10 years. We're in a better advantage at being an established premiership club to attract better players if we get our...

Find it bizarre some folk have the daggers primed for him. It's that mentality which also needs changing as its only come about because Moshiri brought it in.

Said many times...Simms is either good enough (personally would like to see him play against a team that isn't away at a top 6 club) or he's not and should be sold in the summer while his stock his high. Personally think he's done enough to be given a chance. But it's Dyche' call

    2022/23 Sean Dyche

Doesn't really mean much. Gordon flopped at Preston. Nkounkou seems to be a left footed Cafu in Ligue 2 but we're flogging him.

    2022/23 Sean Dyche

He's said he doesn't know what budget we've got next season. Typical A-class planning from these bloos.

We've been in back to back relegation fights. 44 points is a very good expectation

    2022/23 Sean Dyche

Dyche can do all that without money. That was his bread and butter at Burnley. Overall, he fits the bill of someone that has better fundamentals and experience to make a solid Everton team with very little. We're at ground zero now. Hopefully new investors, new board, a fresh approach means...
