    2022/23 Sean Dyche

@Mikey_Fitzgerald I can't find your post but seen it quoted. Re. Keane sub, it was 'forced' on him but it wasn't forced on him to bring Keane on and play him at RB. Where he did play, pretty much all game, for no reason.

See: Forest, Palace and even Fulham, as other examples of letting a game drift.

I don't think that Keane has ever played RB and chucking him on to play there - when Traore immediately switched - was stupid. The personnel were on the pitch to move to a 352, so use them. It's not perfect but it's far better than Keane playing at RB. And FWIW, their goal comes from Keane not...

I'd say chucking on MICHAEL KEANE to play at RIGHT-BACK is probably a bigger error.

Not even he would save us.

If pointing out that the squad was crap was 'defending' him, sure. I think he was a very poor manager who should have been binned after Brighton at the latest. He also wasn't helped. The same stands for Dyche. He's had to deal with a very poor squad. But that doesn't mean I can't criticise...

Jesus Christ he was absolutely horrific today

Because he's a manager who is obsessed with 'must not lose' and 'consistency'. The latter is why he still plays Keane, despite there being no reason Keane should have ever been in the side other than Dyche's own nepotism. I like Dyche in theory, and I think the type of manager was needed for...

Amazing typo of 'families' in a post where he's slagging other people off for not being intelligent.

Let another three points coast by today. Not good.

He's hardly covered himself in glory in recent weeks and this was always my worry. I couldn't care less about his style or approach. But my worry was if he hadn't changed it since his Burnley days, when it had stopped working, then we'd struggle. It's not like Howe, who went back to the...

1 win in 8. Everton need at least 3 wins from the next 6. It's not good.

We aren't showing 'top 10' form, though. Lampard was poor, he needed to go earlier. Dyche is a better manager. However he has cost us points too. You can't lose games like today if you want to get clear of danger. He's a semi-decent manager which is an improvement on the last fella. He isn't...

    2022/23 Sean Dyche

The fact he started a 442 after getting torn apart last week in the same shape. The fact he didn't make a positive change until well into the second half despite Fulham having waltzed through us. The fact we look absolutely dreadful defensively, in the main because he has insisted on playing...

No you can definitely blame him for the shocking tactics and approach today. He got it wrong. The rest isn't untrue and he's got a lot right so far but this one, like last week, is on him.

He was never 'that' good. His Burnley team regularly went weeks without wins.

Very, very poor today. Lost Doucoure and his system has gone to shot. But it's been self-sabotage to a point.

Got it spectacularly wrong yesterday. Eight games to get it right, which he has done the majority of times. I still think we need 4 wins (or 12 points) to absolutely guarantee safety. I don't think 3 wins and 3 draws is out of the realms of possibility but the next two are huge.

They are performing better and that's the difference a better manager can make. But it's very fine margins. We still need this team to get 4 wins. They've done 3 in 7 so in theory it should be doable.

Yeah it's a positive sign given Everton's attack is dreadful but it shows where the issues are. Lampard deserved to go and he was a poor manager, but the players he was given aren't good enough either.
