I think Dyche knows that he'll need to work with Thelwell to build a low cost team (at the moment) and develop the young players.
If he can do that and gradually improve season on season then he'll be the manager of one of the biggest clubs in England long term.
I imagine (like me) he will...
He has to get the defence all in sync and that means Branthwaite to become the next emerging star. The defence needs to be running like a well oiled machine.
Also needs to drill the midfield and decide on McNeil in front of Garner/Onana. A midfield to start the counter with power and pace...

We'd end up with senior players who have only experienced failure.

Was interesting for Guardiola to say were the best in the league at transitions...

I'd have had Thelwell working on a blueprint including playing style. Then i would have a selection of attainable managers to fit that blueprint so if the manager quits or is sacked theres already a structured list of targets who fit the strategy.
Not the bouncing between direct and passing...
I'd say 2 attacking players but certainly all eyes on the direction of transfer business
Another scattergun approach or a couple of top tier signings to boost morale and improve the team.
I keep seeing that hes pragmatic but it doesnt quite sit right to me.
The amout of strange decisions...
