They have to convince the manager they are up to it in training. The training field is there stage. If not selected then something must be amiss in training.

Nothing mental on that take. What happens if these youngsters show the inexperience or show they are not at the level required, the manager will get slaughtered and even you would think the manager was stupid. It is a high risk at this stage of the season

I can't really disagree with what your saying. Just trying to put the managers hat on and see how I can protect myself afterall managers do not like to play a risk game despite having useless players for fear of criticism

Would have liked it but we haven't really been in a position to do so. I would say the games where we had been soundly beaten could've been a good intro for them....like at Arsenal and Liverpool

I think when in a relegation battle the manager would not risk introducing debuts for youngsters. Don't get me wrong those players could turn out to be a Godsend but I feel a manager would not risk them in the position we are in. I agree when we have the likes of Godfrey, Holgate, Davies and...

Only due to inexperience of the PL. If we had been good enough this season with 2 or 3 goal leads then an introduction of those players would have helped them and us short term. The fact they haven't played at this level is the worry

Not suited at right back but the state of Godfrey and Holgate suggests it wouldn't hurt us that much

So with me saying Doucoure is our main scoring threat I wouldn't consider Maupay but Mina at right back wouldn't hurt us with the absence of Coleman

Yes but I still think no gana would be a big miss also. He is under estimated on here on what he does. Gana has a mistake in him but he brings more to the team. I have no problem with Garner and this is a time I am glad I am not a manager

I am not getting on his case for his 1st start today. He did some things well and not so well. Not an obvious disaster like Davies but defo not an Onana just yet
