    Relegation 2022/23

His posts remind me of a program I used to try and cheat on my French home work at school. You typed the French text in and then asked the program to translate to English. The words that would be produced by the program were English but it made no grammatical sense. Teacher caught on in no time.

    Confirmed Signing Neal Maupay

Sorry cross wires. Was referring to another poster discussing Mikel Madar. Think I may have responded to the wrong post.

    Confirmed Signing Neal Maupay

Seem to remember him missing a sitter at Anfield, maybe that's what sticks in people's minds.

    2022/23 Anthony Gordon

Generally I agree with you but I think the club are being smart about doing business for once. I'm certain they are looking for a striker but don't want to sign just anyone. If there was an obvious striker available there would be alot of competition to sign him. No more Tosuns or Rondons on...

We have to get back to a four man defence

I have heard this from a few people now. What makes him so poor when playing in a back 4?

We have to get back to a four man defence

I agree. I think Lampard is still trying to get rid of the players who hold us back. Going forward I imagine the team will be: Pickford Patterson Coady Tarkowski Mykolenko Gana (?) Onana Iwobi Gordon McNeill Dominic Calvert-Lewin/New striker

    Transfer Rumour Maxwell Cornet

I agree it looks that way but I guess it's seems to be the case because we aren't following the other club's transfer news as closely.

    Transfer Rumour Jesse Lingard

Really hope we don't sign him. Exactly the kind of player we should be avoiding. It would worry me if we have actually offered him a deal.

    Transfer Rumour Jesse Lingard

Completely agree. He'll see us as a step down and that's obviously a problem.

    2021/22 Richarlison

Do you not think it's the player that holds all the cards? I love Richie but if he wants to move then it's very difficult for us to block it as we risk ending up with an unhappy player. Maybe he wouldn't agitate for a move to that degree but it's just s thought. I think he loves it here but I...

    2022/2023 Kit Release

It was the start of my support, think I was about 5/6. I remember it so well. My dad took me to this little sport shop in Ormskirk but they didn't have Everton shirts in my size. As we left the shop with me very disappointed my dad turned to me and said 'what about a Liverpool shirt?'. I gave...

Discussion & help on depression & mental health related issues

Thank you for the kind words. Unfortunately I think you are right about my boss. Got some advice today about a 'Carers Passport'. I think this would really help. What is ultimately causing me stress is the unpredictable nature of my wife's condition and how that can impact me when I'm at...

Discussion & help on depression & mental health related issues

This thread has served me well in the past so I'm just hoping for a little advice if possible. My own mental health has been quite good for a couple of years now, however my wife has deteriorated. We have 2 young children and due to my wife's job the majority of the childcare responsibilities...
