    The board and weaponised branding?

I hope you are correct, I agree that for foreign fans if they see a yellow kit with stake.com on it they will think “Watford” not Everton. For me that Version of the tower is not enough on its own, if it had more detail to it, or had the laurel wreaths, I think it could look good.

    2022/2023 Kit Release

Hermes are terrible, part of the reason they got a new name was because of how bad of a reputation they had. There were delays on some training gear being dispatched because it wasn’t in stock at the distribution center, but they had it in the club shops by the ground and at Liverpool one.

    2022/2023 Kit Release

I understand what you are saying, but that version was lifted from the badge itself, you could easily tell that it was representative of Everton. The new version is too simplistic on its own to be used in place of a badge. If they had redone a version of the one from 83-91, it would have looked...

    Everton branding

For me the simple tower branding is OK, in certain instances, back of the shirt is fine, inside of numbers and letters on shirts, also fine. Instead of the badge on the front of the shirt? No Way. Hopefully fans feel the same way and dont buy the 3rd shirt, maybe then the club will get it.

    2022/2023 Kit Release

I dont fully disagree with that. If the club had gone with the tower, the two laurel wreaths either side, I would have been OK with it. To me that is Everton, it is on nearly every version of the badge since the 1930's. Or if it was a version of the 83-91 badge with the EFC above the tower and...

    2022/2023 Kit Release

Maybe the esk is a little over the top here, but personally I hope that the 3rd kit is the worst selling kit and the club understand that we don’t want that on the kit instead of the badge. I know there are lots of people saying “it’s only a third kit” but the badge is important to a lot of...

    2022/2023 Kit Release

So the third outfield player kit doesn’t have a badge, but the goalkeeper third kit does have a badge. That seems weird.

Everton Summer Transfer Thread - 2022

I’d never heard of Gyokeres before, looking at the goals he scored last season, he didn’t get a single one with his head. We have sort of built a team around getting it wide and crossing.

Everton Summer Transfer Thread - 2022

My understanding is it’s £10m after 20 games and the rest is dependant on him playing 80 games. His contract is 2 and a half seasons, so he may not get to that total over the next 2 seasons.

    Confirmed Signing Conor Coady

Don’t understand why people are so bothered about him being a Liverpool fan. We have signed many Liverpool fans over the years, some good, some great and some bad. The echo did a handy list a few years ago if you can’t remember them...

Everton Summer Transfer Thread - 2022

We don’t have the personnel at the moment, I’m sure Frank would prefer us to play with a midfield 3 and a number 10, like MGW, but when we tried to play 433 last season we often got found out because CM’s and CB’s were not good enough, and we have gone to a 523 to combat that. I think if we can...

Everton Summer Transfer Thread - 2022

Seen we have been linked to Serhou Guirassy, 26 year old French forward from Rennes, he has 18 goals from 55 appearances for them, he’s a 6ft 2” target man, believed to be available for about €18m. It’s mentioned in the article that Ed may take him on loan with a guaranteed purchase next season...

Match Thread Everton vs Chelsea - Preview, Match Report and MotM Poll

Just got back from the game, as many have said some positives to take from the game, the new signings did well, particularly Tarky. if Chelsea hadn’t had a pen, we would have at least for a point, they were not very good and embarrassing that they were time wasting from 60 minutes onwards...

Everton Summer Transfer Thread - 2022

I agree, if we get those 2 in, Alan wouldn’t by my first choice to sell, Gomes and Gbamin would be ahead of him, but given his age, and our financial position, if we got an offer for Alan I think we would have to consider it.

    Confirmed Signing Conor Coady

The article I read said it could be on loan, but if we loan him and start him ahead of one of our 5 CB's that seems a bit mad. I guess if we stick with a back 5 having 6 CB's makes sense because of injuries, suspensions and fatigue. But it also said he wants to leave Wolves so he can get games...

    2022/2023 Kit Release

Source? is that just from Twitter? I saw that yesterday but presumed it was just made up for clicks and likes. I dont mind Castore, think they were one of the brands mentioned before we signed the Hummel deal, not sure how true it was, thought it might just be lazy journalism because they are...

    2021/22 Seamus Coleman

I would have thought his role will not be a starting one this season?! people having a go at him on here is massively unfair, he has been amazing for us over the years. The club should have signed another RB, but at the moment we are strapped for cash, that is not seamus's fault, its the clubs...

    Confirmed Signing Amadou Onana

We’ve probably been working on it for a while, he was first linked at least a month ago. In an ideal world I still think Frank wants to play 433, rather than 523, so if Onana allows that, it will be a priority. The striker issue is separate but important, I’m sure the club are working on that as...
