Have to trust the technology. I don't think the premier League help things by not showing how the angles are calculated, though.

    Play like that every week....

Let's not get carried away. It was better than the last couple of months, but we aren't out of the woods yet. Until gray, gomes and richarlison decided to turn the game, we hadn't really created anything.

Only the tip of the iceberg, unfortunately.

    2021/22 Alex Iwobi

My expectations are so low for him that I see it as a successful shot on target. That's more than I expected from him.

Nah, that was a pointless exercise. But surely people can't be happy again because we won? Our problems haven't gone away.

Just so you know how far Everton have to go to be globally recognised... The stream I'm watching is now showing old highlights of arsenal beating us 5-2 followed by saka's top 5 goals.

Good result, but shouldn't stop the campaign to oust the board.

Rafael settling for a 2-1 defeat then?

Nah. Other than the richarlison disallowed goals, we've produced nothing. You're just comparing it to recent performances, not what good performance is.

    I'd be ok with that.

    2021/22 Rafael Benitez

I hope when he gets home tonight, he walks in on Andy gray and Richard keys double teaming his missus.

    New DOF or scrap it?

Unless benitez is made DoF in future, with someone like Ferguson as manager. He wants a long-term, local job. Manager isn't long term, but a DoF could be around for years. 🤮

    2021/22 Rafael Benitez

Reads as "benitez is happy to go along with moshiri's meddling".

There's been a few bits about it. Iwobi was on holiday when we went in for him. There was no pre-negotiation or scouting. I seem to remember iwobi saying he was on a boat off Dubai and had to bomb it back to shore to go for a medical and sign paperwork.

Brands smiles like someone who's just dropped a death fart and is just waiting for everyone else to smell it.

    2021/22 The Everton Board Thread

Unfortunately, betting companies are ingrained in football now. If we cut them off, we lose a significant revenue stream. We have to decide what we want. Anyway, our owner is an accountant who allegedly launders money for an oligarch, so we can't get too prescious about sponsorship with online...

He walked, didn't he? It's the first good thing he's done since becoming DoF. I still think he wasn't making the decisions - and for that he can't take all the blame - but he was happy to sit there, earning the money. If you stand by while other people are doing wrong, then you're complicit.

    New DOF or scrap it?

We should be going all out to get Wenger as DoF, or at least in a consultancy role for a year, like UTD have done with ragnick. We need someone to steady the ship and a strong personality to stand up to moshiri.

Had to go, but can't help feeling like it won't actually change anything. Isn't this just moshiri hiding behind another sacking?
