I'd love to sign more players but with FFP the way our manager is going we will have to get rid of him and his team on 2 and half years left on their contracts so how much will that cost. So grim

    2021/22 The Everton Board Thread

On Wednesday night, win lose or draw. The Board aka Moshiri has to be prepared to pull the trigger on Brands and Benitez. No use keeping a Director of Football who has failed under Silva, Ancelotti and Benitez. We binned Walsh off for less. So Brands has to go but importantly we need an...

    Who's next after Benitez

Brands Kenwright Barrett-Baxendale THAT'S WHO NEED TO GO AFTER BENITEZ IF WE HAVE ANY CHANCE OF APPOINTING A DECENT MANAGER

Really need Mina back for me. He allows us to play 5 at the back and that means Coleman has cover and Digne can get more forward. I think it's too soon for DCL which is a huge blow but Richarlison back up top with Doucoure, Gray and Gordon behind gives us pace, strength and creativity. Allan...

That's why I said "IF" if Norwich sell Aarons, Kenny would be a good easy buy. Maybe Championship side they might take a gamble

After shifting Bernard and James off huge wages, I very much doubt we will want to keep adding to our huge wages bill. Lingard is far superior compared to Iwobi and Townsend but at 28 years old, he will be looking for his last big contract.

    Everton Jan 2022 transfer thread

Realistic outs this January are loans unfortunately because we don't have any real sellable options who wouldn't weaken us. Branthwaite, Simms and Tosun will have options and if he signs a new deal, Dobbin could also find plenty of clubs looking at him too. IF we find buyers for any of our...

It will be interesting to see if we find a shock to the lineup. Gbamin - is it now or never? Doucoure - will we risk him? Dobbin - will he get a chance? Simms - start? Branthwaite - could he play in a 3? Iwobi and Rondon - please never play ever

With Simms, Branthwaite and hopefully possible Dobbin signing new deals, I think these guys are out on loan this January. I am not a fan of it because I'd rather we shipped out Tosun, Holgate and Iwobi.

Given the latest press conference I fully expect one of the most expensive, inexperienced, over-paid and over the hill starting lineup in our history. Pickford Coleman - Godfrey - Mina - Digne Delph - Onyango - Townsend Iwobi - Rondon - Gordon Oh FFS

Brentford play a 3 man defence and most likely will play 3-4-3 so our best attack will be width so whether we unlock Digne's attacking attributes and cover Coleman's defensive limitations and play 5 man defence with hopefully Mina back alongside Keane and Godfrey. Middle of the park is another...

Mina will be given a new deal if he returns from injury and can prove his fitness and now that Benitez has "improved" our backroom staff he is a shoe in to get injured

    2021/22 Rafael Benitez

The way I see Gbamin v Onyango. Onyango has played more game time at Under 23 level so he is game fitter and Gbamin needs to do this because it will only benefit him. I think they are hanging him out to dry for a loan in January personally because Benitez isn't a fan
