Pennington is also experienced to learn from and seems a good lad who will help the others and be a good example. I'm sure he'd love to be out playing first team football, but it's where he and the club are at the moment.

Proposed changes to the Premier league

Because it's all about money... utd have one of the biggest revenues and number of fans around the world, if they aren't involved investors won't get as much money

Proposed changes to the Premier league

probably why they wanted the number of teams in the PL reduced as they'd have far too many to play

    2020/21 Abdoulaye Doucouré

He never played a preseason game, but still put in good performances and today his best so far... hopefully more to come too

    2020/21 James Rodriguez

Absolutely class player, doesn't feel real he's playing for us! As well as being technically brilliant he takes on so much responsibility and calms the side down by being able to retrieve the ball under pressure, then getting it to another blue shirt. He works hard too, back defending and...

    2020/21 Tom Davies

Good game today coming in for Allan, his passing was much better and kept the play moving. Made up for him and great to have a versatile player like him in the squad

    Everton Youth Teams Thread

I'm sure the plan was always to send out Gibson on loan again this year to get first team football, wasn't this stated when he signed his contract before going out on loan to Fleetwood? He's only played half a season of football so far and if he can get a good number of games at Reading then I...

I'm sure Walter Smith brought the sides in as well when we were playing about 6 centre backs in the team

    2020/21 Anthony Gordon

I understand what you're saying, but in Gordons case I believe he is very capable of playing and having a big effect on both games. With a short preseason then 7 games in the space of 4 weeks, I think we need to be very careful how we manage the team to prevent possible injuries.

Markelo out on loan too, looks like he's only come on as sub a couple of times

    2020/21 Anthony Gordon

With the league cup being every week it's a great way for him to get up to full fitness and match sharpness before he is in the Premier League squads. Hopefully he's one of if not the first on the team sheet for these matches and if we beat these he'll have a game against West Ham to look...

    Everton Youth Teams Thread

I reckon we would be selling if any teams bid for them. It's going to be very tough for teams below the Premier League due to no fans being in the stadiums and I can't see many teams spending any money, maybe the ones lucky enough to sell a player for a lot of money such as Brentford. All of...
