Keeps the scottish football supporter happy. Helped to sell copies in bonny scotland. Were Rangers and Celtic not well regarded back in the 1960s and 1970s.....

    Derby day injustice

The biggest injustice that they ever inflicted on us wasn't even in a derby match. It was when they (their supporters ) managed to get all English teams banned from European football for five years. Starting the year that we win the league and had a team more that capable of winning the...

Totally agree with you. But Gordon hasn't even made the bench in recent weeks. Seems for whatever reason that Don Carlo favours Iwobi . Or maybe even Bernard. I'd go for your choicd....Gordon. Or even Nkoukoun. Both have not let us down when they have been called on.....

didn't know about the West Ham player. Thought that Niasse was the only player banned for diving retrospectively. ( Although I never actually thought that Niasse dived). My point in mentioning Niasse though, is wasn't it the media and Palace manager pointing out "the dive" that...

I know all that. Doesn't stop them(rs) from trying though. Does it. Off course the result won't change. Never thought for one minute that it would. But Pickford could get a ban. Remember what happened Niasse. Did any other player ever get banned for anything like that? They cry...

Match Thread Everton v Liverpool - Preview, Match Report and MotM Poll

Should anything come from all this nonsense that the rs are now trying to do. Then every team in the league should bombard the powers that be with complaints concerning every little dodgy VAR decision from now to eternity. Including us..........especially us. The rs get any of yesterday's...

Would have loved to have beaten them. But I'll take that draw. We could have been beat. So the draw will do. And DCL scores again. The trick now is to get properly back on track and beat Southampton next week. Get our South Americans all up to the level they were at before the break...

superb clip........shows that we can score against them.........and that we can beat them. Hopefully no more of this negative thinking when it comes to playing them. Our first eleven.can match them man for man. Nothing special about them as Villa have pointed out. No mistakes...

As stated many times......pitches were awful back in those days. It's a wonder that those guys managed to play any good football. Some matches must have been a complete slog. I cannot imagine the footballers of today playing on those sort of pitches.

    2020/21 Jordan Pickford

Not really bothered who is in nets for our opposition. That's their concern. Our forwards will at times not score many goals. We cannot expect to score 4 and 5 every match. And when those matches pop up , we need a keeper who will at least earn us a point. We will.at times this...

Think that the story was started when George Best was only about 17 or 18. But I don't really believe that it did happen. Think I did hear something in line with what you said about Leighton James. What I do believe though.......and no real proof.......except what i have...

    2020/21 Jordan Pickford

Maybe we would be better off with Mina in goal. He's big enough. He just might catch the ball now and again. Maybe even make the odd save. And surely he would be able to pass the ball out to an actual Everton player. Or how about giving old Kenwright a chance. The ball might...

Joey......joey.......joey. Superb three image photo of the Trinity. Thanks for posting it. That image is going on my phone. Is it wallpaper you call it. The family photo is now being demoted. They won't mind. Haven't a clue how to go about doing that. Transferring a photo...

I'd say that you are right. Didn't really believe it anyhow. Saw best a few times (mainly Windsor Park) and he didn't strike me that he was that bothered by anyone. Think everyone knows that Best was not that easily intimidated. Saw him square up to Russian defenders once in an...

My first thought is that the keeper is Bill Glazier. But a quick check showed that Alan Ball didn't score against Coventry in that time period. He did score against three teams during September 1968. WBA....Tranmere and Luton according to my book of all things Everton. All home games...

Tommy Smith looking every bit the thug that he actually was. With a face that you would like to punch..........a few times. There was an old story that after George Best had waltzed past him a few times. Smith said to him that if he did that again that he would break his legs...
