We are all overjoyed by this comment. Our revenge for Bolasie.

    2019/20 Moise Kean

If the plan is to give 3 years to young players who are playing badly in the hope they come good then we need to come up with a new way of doing things. Possibly the biggest clubs in the world can spend £30m on someone to see them do nothing in 6 months, but even then there'd be huge question...

    2019/20 Moise Kean

There's no doubt he was brought in to have an impact this season and that just hasn't happened. He has been no better than Sandro Ramirez. We can hope things turn round and they might, but in terms of impact, it couldn't have gone any worse so far.

    Palace are exactly the same.

People love to make things up to suit their agenda. Palace play worse football than us. We can only hope that somehow he gets on the end of a few goals and they cough up the cash.

    David Moyes hangover

I wouldn't say he overstayed his welcome. It was a situation that worked for us because with the finances available at the time we weren't realistically going any higher than where we were. He took us as far as he could because that was our limit.

You really think Palace play better football than us?

    2019/20 Moise Kean

Would people be saying he will come good if he was a £30m singing for Liverpool who hadn't scored a goal in his first 6 months? I have my doubts. We're all desperate for him to do well but saying he definitely will based on what we've seen is just out of hope rather than expectation.

I'd say continuing to play them when they clearly aren't ready for the responsibility is what holds us back. For example, would Tom Davies be playing regular first team football for any of the top 6 teams in the country? I don't think so.

I change my mind on a weekly basis on what position is the priority haha but yeah, at least one quality centre mid is an absolute must.

    2019/20 Carlo Ancelotti

I really hope his standards don't slip and he doesn't accept performances like yesterday's in a year's time. In a way, Everton grinds you down because we've seen so many of our past managers who would eventually succumb to thinking yesterday was a good point away from home. We need to set our...

    2019/20 Moise Kean

It works both ways. The midfield is sub par and so are the strikers. There's no real quality in the team. No one in any position who you can give the ball to and get inspiration from. Possibly Bernard and Richarlison but they are inconsistent. The midfield lack the vision and the quality and...

    2019/20 Moise Kean

Yeah, it is but realistically 5 years of what we've seen from him until now isn't going to happen. I maintain what I've said in the past. He will have until next January to show us what he's got then it'll be best for both parties if he moves somewhere else, at least on loan.

    2019/20 Cenk Tosun

Maybe he will score a few goals like he did for us. We can only hope. Average/poor players have a few months where they look good before reality hits again. It happens a lot with strikers.

I'm not even watching but this is all so predictable. I can't make my mind up about where we need new players the most. It's probably in every single position.

But if we want to get into that top 6 we have to start winning games like today. The next four games are our chance to turn up the pressure on the more fancied teams around us. We can´t go into a run of fixtures against Arsenal, United, Chelsea and Liverpool behind them.

Gutted Richarlison is out. One of the only ones you can rely on for effort and desire in the squad. It's a huge game. Win today and it'll look like we have something to play for again, a loss will drain the life out of us all.

He didn't actually say though. Crap headline to take quotes out of context.

Looking at those names on the list I´d be all for it being an annual thing in January and February.

    2019/20 Alex Iwobi

If he's as good as some people on here think he is then there should be no problem with him putting performances in from out wide with the freedom to cut inside. When it's all said and done, he's an attacking midfielder. With the way modern day full backs play it's not like we need him standing...
