No it isn't. It's comparing apples and pears.

We lost Lukaku and Rooney to United; we lost Richarlison to Spurs.

He is saying is it as damaging as those from a football perspective though. Lukaku was literally our entire goal threat. Rooney at the time was the only bit of true quality we had. I think Richarlison’s attributes are “easier” to replace personally.
 
I think what he’s saying there is correct tbh.

Without any sort of context he might have a point.

Relegated without him. Knowing our record on recruitment. It's huge.


Plus it's his other posts too. Really downplaying Richarlison in the podcast.
 
Gutted to see him leave, not irreplaceable but still a big loss. Think we've been done over once again for the price, typical everton selling for £20m short. Proper investment needed
