But ultimately what does that achieve mate?

Moshiri is in Monaco
Usmanov is in the Baltic

Let little Kev shout some nasty tings at the players/manager that wont do anything.

Utd fans invaded OT and got a massive game with Liverpool called off to make the Glazers sell up.

Glazers are still there.

Obviously Moshiri is going to ignore the crowd at Goodison for now, but if things don't pick - up the hostility will go off the scale and that's when he will try and deflect it from himself by throwing Benitez to the lions, mark my words mate.

Even if he did know mate - if the option was Benitez or Nuno or Benitez or Mark Hughes then Moshiri has to go with the best man for the job regardless of any baggage that he brings.

Thats business its not a popularity contest like X Factor or Britain's Got Talent and our fans need to accept that.

Sadly some believe we were genuinely knocking back world class managers just to appoint someone to trigger the fans...

Well he did actually go for Nuno and only got knocked back because Kenwright wouldn’t let him bring in all his own staff to replace Hippo and Big Dunc, so that just tells you how much of a basket case the man is. Nuno was higher up on his list than Benitez ffs, and you’re happy with allowing him to continue making football decisions?

Hard to know what to make of the Nuno thing. Lots of briefing the press. Heard back room staff and heard they werent impressed with his interview. Either way he was pretty high on the list.

If Allan is injured as well we honestly may as well just fold the club. Davies and Delph against two high pressing teams next. We all know how this ends.

A key requirement of any football team is to put out 11 players. Everton are struggling to keep any player fit at any level of the club. Even our youth players got absolutely decimated last season with long term injuries. Even our players on loan get crocked, and now the first team players are just dropping like flies every single match.

Something is badly badly wrong at the club.
Davies is injured I think, out for 4 weeks minimum with a knee injury.

You only get time in football these days by earning it through results. Benitez has to prove he deserves time because he came into the club with no credentials to suggest he is still a top manager.

Anyone arguing for patience is asking for a losing mentality. Patience is the opposite to what we should have. We should be desperate to improve every single day to get out of this total mess we are in.

By backing the manager, the club are making it an even bigger task to become competitive again. The longer we stick with Benitez the further we will regress.

At some point, the club have to show patience with somebody. The club

Continuously sacking managers is just creating a disjointed squad not aligned with any one philosophy, a feeling of disharmony and (I would imagine) a level of doubt in the mind of any top prospective manager who may consider joining us.

The fans are impatient because of the collective suffering brought about by years of board inaction and poor decision making. Any new manager will feel that pressure. Benitez more so because of who he is. But we won't get better qualified managers than Ancelotti and Benitez. They aren't the problem.

This is nonsense.

The baggage is important, and of course its a popularity contest!

If a manager is unpopular his position becomes untenable sooner or later. The baggage is important because as soon as you hit a bump in the road that baggage spills everywhere.

It's basic human nature, it's also basic business.

Not one person has said he was appoint to "trigger" fans. Moshiri obviously didn't care what the fans think. At least he is out in the open with that I suppose.

(Mark Hughes would be in the same boat by the way, loads hate him already so he would be doomed. Nuno would be judged on how he performed as nobody has really strong opinions on him.)

Im yet to see this though again apart from a few dissenting voices on this thread. On another forum I read over 80% still want him at the club for example and I've yet to see any serious groans from the crowd at the game.

Yes people will boo and leave early but thats generally directed at everyone not just the manager.

Seriously Dave, we could be bottom 6 in a week, bottom 3 by Xmas - injuries or otherwise, you would expect no action to be taken under those circumstances?

If so that is total negligence.
If this and if that. The injuries would be still there for anyone else to contend with.

Lets see where we are in February when we have the injured back and new signings in.

If the option was (insert rubbish manager to suit my agenda) or Benitez...

You would take Benitez right lads?

Lads?

Lads?

Hello?

All of the agitating over wanting Benitez out...and they'd take the Galloot in a heartbeat. THAT's how principled and well thought out their ideas are.

The club means more to them though. Who are we to criticise them?
