Start of season with full squad to pick from he had us playing front foot football, with Gray, Doucoure and Calvert-Lewin looking fantastic.

Injuries set in, the usual cowards downed tools and we are where we are.

You have no evidence whatsoever for what you're saying; he is simply playing the hand he's dealt with. He can't go gegenpressing with the shower of tossers he has at his disposal.
Bit of a stretch.

He had one goalscoring chance in open play other than the one he scored v Southampton, and that was the one-v-one he missed v Leeds. Other than that the pens were what he had. He was injured and hardly looked 'fantastic'.

The team all played well v Brighton, it was a good performance. I'm not buying this we played fantastic stuff, front foot etc footy though. That first half v S'ton was as bad as we'd seen, it was awful. The Huddersfield game was horrific and we should have lost it and would have done if not for a dodgy lino call. The Leeds game, while we played pretty well, Benitez failed to change it with subs and allowed them to pressurise our goal and we conceded a sloppy goal from a cross into the box - an Achilles heel of ours all season that hasn't been addressed.

What is it with you and having love affairs with crap dinosaur managers?

You said you are happy with a manager playing ugly football providing we were getting results (in reference to King Carlo)

Yet Alladyce took that monstrosity of a squad post Koeman/Walsh into 8th - surpassing Ancelotti's two league finishes yet he was legged out the door because his football was "ugly".

No one with any sense would take this job on as they cant win with our fans.

Alladyce had us getting points on the board playing ugly football and the fanbase legged him out within 6 months.

Poisoned Chalice of a job with our board & fans.

No, Allardyce was “ legged “ as he was bought in to to keep us from relegation. The moment that was achieved, he was always going to get paid off and webbed.

It really was as simple as that.

Let’s not try and re write history to suit your agenda please.

Exactly - Mosh Man booted him to bring in Silva and the fans were made up he got booted.

No manager can survive our board and fanbase with the tools at their disposal.

Why can’t they win? If the manager is right for the fans and their vision of what we should be, then the right manager will succeed.

Problem is our board keep appointing the wrong manager, keep signing the wrong players, keep making the same mistakes.

Benitez isn’t here to start a revolution, he’s not here to take us to the next level, he’s here because our board are clueless and blind to what’s really needed.

I think they would now, like soeone mentioned the fella at MK Dons last night, im not saying him but if we went lower league again and took a risk on someone that we dont have a pre-conceived opinion of he should get more support
Anyone other than Slippy G would get more support, that's the point that people have been trying to make to you and your gang for months now.

Allardyce did worse than Benitez is doing now so congratulations for missing the mark again.

They both sit at a win% of 38.5%.

Nice try though.
