Rondon - he will not play straight away he will be coming back from international duty due to all the countries he's been in - UK law says he has to self-isolate so lets hope DCL is fit to play as Rondon is not coming available for 4-5 weeks from now .....
The 31-year-old will now come in to provide back-up for DCL over the coming campaign, but he might have to wait to get his first taste of football with his new club.
Rondon has travelled to join up with the Venezuela squad for their coming World Cup qualifiers over the course of the international break. -
All three of the countries hosting those matches are currently on the UK Government's red list, meaning that those travelling back from there to England will have to quarantine for ten days upon their arrival.

Whether he'll be fit to play against Burnley is a different matter and he might still have to do quarantine when he arrives here anyway. But he hasn't gone with the Venezuelan squad
Exactly he will have not much time to train with our squad ...... He will have to quarantine under UK rules as China is a code RED area .....let's hope DCL is fit RB stated it was just precautionary thigh strain v Brighton ..... but we have heard this before.....with other players.....
He's not come from China mate. He's been in Spain for the last few weeks (was reported in The Athletic today who are reliable). So not sure what the rule is for Spain but I guess if he's double dosed he won't have to quarantine. He'll have to do all the testing anyway.
If he passes the Covid test he may be ok then
