…not sure if it’s that time again.

Exactly, if we lack wriggle room due to FFP then we should be putting the nunes deal on the back burner and prioritising a RB with the money we are allowed to spend, then any future sales we do make we can use that to strengthen
We honestly need to do both really we need three players, right back, midfielder, winger. For that we will need to shift James, Kean, Kenny, maybe Gomes... If we create room on the wage bill by moving James it would help alot.

Everything about this kid looks spot on and we’ve got a thread arguing about who his agent is and complaining he’s not a right back*. Classic GOT.

*yes we do need a right back more than a CM but signing one doesn’t mean we won’t sign the other
I actually think our midfield options are every bit as bad as the RB ones but midfield is more impactful. I'd rather spend money here.

oh god you are far too early. for any everton transfer the drill is:
-Myers / King saying it is close. DAY ZERO
-Echo to deny DAY 1
-Other sources saying deal has been agreed (like Skysports) DAY 4
-Echo to deny that any deal is done / still talking DAY 5
-Romano saying deal is done DAY 7
-Player expected to travel over for his medical in the next 48 hours DAY 8
-Players medical done DAY 11 (2 day medical + 1 day travel)
-Evertonfc.com announcing the arrival DAY 13 (late evening)
-Player to train with the 1st team squad DAY 14
