Really don’t get whats not to like about this one. A physical specimen who marauds up and down the right hand side with pace and energy which we are crying out for. Judging of his highlight reel and the euros, a lot of the time he will be one of the furthest forward even when attacking down the left so will offer a goal threat. He might not be able to bend it like Beckham but he looks more than capable of finding his man with a cut back or putting balls along the floor into dangerous areas. Massive signing this one for me and a big piece of the missing jigsaw.

Romano is reliable when it comes to the fact that he doesnt report crap or make up links for clicks. However just because he doesnt know about a deal doesnt mean its not happening.

The Townsend and Grey signings were already leaked before he confirmed, but prior to that he didnt have a clue they were happening.

Im of the opinion now he follows reliable accounts for a few clubs and checks out what they are posting. I think he confirms the stories before he posts but ive seen him jump on a few teams ITK's info.

I watched a fair bit of him and if signed he will surprise you given how low you rate him

We need an overlapping wing back which he can do all day and his power makes him a formidable attacking options from crosses from the left hence his goal ratio admittedly in Holland but I'd argue that league is on par with the Championship.

He will be cheaper and more effective than Aarons or Emerson in this system. The lad can defend for a start, he isn't a failed midfielder chuck on the right because he's fast. He has the turn of pace, strength and intellegence too

His cameo in the Euros was what we will be getting a full back who is a threat.



His range of passing is very clear to see so let's knock that rumours on the head.

Plus all this he can't cross, we had Hibbert and Coleman for the past 15 years, if that's the bar, he'll smash it and more.

Think he gets info and is used by agents to push deals over the line quicker
