Personally feel it is a big assumption to say he'd be first choice. Matt Lowton isn't a good player but he's experienced in the system and that matters when so much is down to defending as a team.

Yes but there is no guarantee he will sign a new deal this summer when his contract expires. If he and Bardsley leave, you would assume Kenny would be first choice. Cant see them buying him and then buying another RB to play ahead of him.
