Looked bright and this was understated by Jamie Carragher intentionally as he wanted to pander to the consensus that Kean is no good or a bad boy. The times we got the ball near him the defenders were frightened of his turns, lucky bobbles, skilful feints, physique and pace. It was also 1 up front this time. £25m might looks cheap as hell in a season or two.

Scoring a tap in goal is a strikers bread and butter. Shows his strikers instincts. I’ll happily watch him score tap ins because he’s in the right position. It’s sustainable scoring if he can get some service

Not the bests of seasons esp given the minor indiscretions and apparent lack of fitness. But you would be a fool to argue he doesn't have talent shown enough glimpses for me to suggest that hes got the makings of a goodforward. No idea why people are criticising him, richy and DCL. The have being feeding on scraps all season and desperately need some service from the midfield.

Time is on his side & maybe a loan to another premiership club is the answer where he can get more game time to develop his finishing & confidence...

He makes incredible forward runs with bursts of pace , then our midfielders pass it back to the defenders.

With a better midfield next season the lad absolutely has a chance. I fear he’s gonna get used as a bargaining chip though.
